STUART WILDE
STUART WILDE
Stuart Wilde’s music is unique. Dark, heartfelt and poetic, his songs range from thunderous to tender, populated by stories of lost love, shadow worlds, dirty dishes, the sea, mud and crows. His music has been compared to Nick Cave, Tom Waits & Bob Dylan.
Performing as a trio of vocal, guitar & foot percussion with Kathryn Doehner on violin and Tiarnán O’Corráin on piano, they make a big sound, which could be described as Alternative Irish Blues.
Stuart grew up in Ireland, near the estuary of the river Boyne in Co. Meath, and now lives in Cork.
2011 saw the release of Stuart Wilde’s debut Album, “The Black Crow” followed by gigs in Ireland, Germany and the UK. “The Black Crow” was featured in 2UIBestow’s Top 20 Albums of 2011
2012 began with recruiting Cork piano player Tiarnán O’Corráin and beginning work on a second Album due for release Autumn 2012.
